— What Affects Price

Six factors we consider

Tree Size

Height and trunk diameter are the primary cost drivers. A 5m tree costs significantly less than a 20m tree.

Location & Access

A tree in an open yard is straightforward. A tree leaning over a roof or squeezed between walls requires rigging — which takes more time and skill.

Tree Species

Hardwoods (oak, ash) are denser and slower to cut. Palms and softwoods are faster but present their own challenges.

Condition

A dead or decaying tree may be more dangerous to climb, requiring additional safety measures and equipment.

Debris Handling

Leaving timber on site costs less than full removal. Chipping and hauling add to the price but leave the site clean.

Stump Grinding

Optional add-on. Priced per stump based on diameter. Often cheaper when done alongside the removal.
