Fifteen years of
precision in the canopy
Reyds Tree Felling started with one man, one chainsaw, and a commitment to doing tree work properly. Today we're Centurion's trusted arborist team — but the commitment hasn't changed.
Built on craft, not shortcuts
Reyd Smith grew up around trees. After years working for large landscaping companies where speed mattered more than craft, he struck out on his own with a simple philosophy: treat every tree like it's hanging over your own bedroom.
That meant investing in proper rigging equipment when others were still just dropping trees. It meant getting qualified in tree risk assessment when others were still guessing. And it meant turning down jobs that couldn't be done safely — even when the money was good.
Today, Reyds Tree Felling is a team of five full-time arborists serving homes, businesses, and estates across Centurion. We've safely removed over 5,000 trees, responded to more than 1,000 storm emergencies, and planted hundreds of new trees to replace the ones we've taken down.
We're not the cheapest tree service in Centurion. We're the one you call when it matters.
What we stand for
Safety Above All
Every job starts with a risk assessment. Every cut is planned. Every team member wears full PPE. No exceptions.
Environmental Care
We preserve trees that can be saved. We recycle 100% of our green waste into mulch and compost. We plant a tree for every ten we remove.
Technical Excellence
Modern rigging techniques, ANSI A300 pruning standards, and continuous training. We do it right, not fast.
Respect for People
Your property, your time, your neighbours. We communicate clearly, arrive on time, and leave the site spotless.
